Tulsa Welding School Parking Lot

The school came to us looking for a way to expand the building on a constrained site.  After exploring several options, we realized the parking lot was configured very inefficiently, as a result of many years of expansion.

Ultimately, we redesigned the aging parking lot to increase the number of spaces from 236 to 286 that allowed the school to overlap shifts and gain better use of the existing building – eliminating the need for a costly building expansion.  This was accomplished with no increase in impervious area and in such a way that the parking lot remained open to students and faculty.
